Alison Sayar – Partner

Alison Sayar is managing partner at Sayar Fausto, focusing in the areas of education and special needs, and business transactions/venture funding.

Education and Special Needs: Alison Sayar has represented children in all areas of education and special needs.  Her negotiating experience on behalf of her clients stems from her former practice as a venture financing and transaction lawyer with the law firm of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, P.C., where she worked with Mario Rosati on many complex transaction matters.

Her current practice includes representing children with special needs in negotiations with school districts and counties, attending IEP's, 504 meetings, mediations and Due Process Hearings.  She also assists families with education issues such as suspensions and expulsions before school boards.

Business Transactions and Venture Funding: Ms. Sayar has been working with technology corporations and venture groups since she started at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.  Since starting Bredel & Sayar, now known as Sayar Fausto, LLP in 2001, she has continued to collaborate with technology companies and has also expanded her practice to include smaller companies where she assists with all general business, employee and contract issues.  Given her wide range of experience with a diverse group of companies, Ms. Sayar is capable of identifying issues on every level and efficiently resolving them according to the company's needs.
